Ed 018 / Ed 001, Would real put in an offer for Hazard and will Chelsea hold on to him considering that the Xfer window for them is closed

{Ed018's Note - I don’t expect anything to happen now. Hopefully Hazard will at some point sign a new contract but that might prove difficult to happen}

Is the problem that he wants to go to Real?
If that is the case are Chelsea in a repeat of Courtois where he will stay but want to leave in the Summer?
My guess is Real are not prepared to pay the current asking price but maybe interested in cut price deal next summer.

{Ed018's Note - sure it’ll certainly could go into next summer but Courtois wanted to move closer to his family. I won’t fault him for that. If Hazard signs a contract extension at some point this season I would think that would put an end to this. If he doesn’t and decides he wants to move on and Real Madrid come back in for him then yea I would guess he will be sold}

The problem with leaving it until next summer is the affect that will have on his value I would imagine.
If he doesn't sign a contract this calendar year I imagine he will be leaving either in January or the Summer.
The only thing on our side is that if he does run his contract down he will be close to 30.
