Juventus have not, as of a few minutes ago, made any offer to Real Madrid for Ronaldo. They have however spoken with his representative, Jorge Mendes, about what it would take to get the player and whether or not he would be interested (given that there is aplan from Real Madrid to utilise him elsewhere in a transaction) .

Thanks for the update Ed002.

Hope you don't mind me asking about the part you mentioned that "given that there is aplan from Real Madrid to utilise him elsewhere in a transaction" Are you willing to give the details on that part? No worries if not. Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - I have explained about Real Madrid’s plans.}

Thanks for the update Ed, it's really gathered steam all this. Is it true they had an 100 mill buy out for non Spanish clubs and psg that's recently came active? Also reading he's willing to move to Juve and its only a matter of time till the official bid is on the table.
If he was to go to Juve do you think this will be good or bad for calico leagues?

{Ed002's Note - You need to drop thoughts about "buy out" clauses. I would caution anyone to think about money in this matter as I rather doubt they will grasp the monies involved and the level of financial commitment a club would need to make.}

OK mate. Its not so much the transfer fee is it. It's the wage bill, helped by a sponsor, it's exactly what Juve are after though. Bigger brand and more marketability. He's perfect for them, and their goals.

{Ed002's Note - It is not simply that - it would be image rights issues, access to him from his own sponsors, yadda, yadda, yadda.}
