Is Griezmann off to Barcelona? Thought Ed002 said we're still interested in him? Such a shame if we don't get him.
{Ed002's Note - Griezmann might be too difficult for Manchester United as he is not needed as much as a left winger and he wants to stay in Spain - Barcelona beckons as they look to replace Suarez in the summer and Atletico are already looking to replacements for both him and Carrasco who may well move in the summer. Again there is interest from Real Madrid but a move across the city seems unlikely. The variables in here relates to the coaches of the clubs.)

{Ed002's Note - Gareth Bale (LW) - Will be offered to Manchester United but I think will be priced out of a move when his injuries are taken in to account
Jose Arnaiz (LW) - viable option
Marco Asensio (LW) - unlikely because Madrid want to keep him - which will be easier if Bale goes
Ivan Perisic (LW) - Manchester United could yet return

Now, it may not be transfer related, but could one of the Eds kindly tell me just how good the Brazilian Ronaldo was? Never got to see him play, such a shame!
{Ed001's Note - you should look up footage of him, he was extraordinary. The best out and out striker I have ever seen play the game. Pace, power, skill and he made scoring look easy. You can't possibly emphasis enough just how good the lad was.}

Ed do you know if he ever came close to moving to the PL? Often wonder how players like him, Rivaldo, Zidane etc would have fared in the PL?
{Ed001's Note - yes he did, when he was at PSV he had a lot of offers. I am not sure about the other two but Ronaldo would have tore the Prem to pieces.}

Yeah he would have been a class above everyone at the time. It's ridiculous to think he still underachieved due to his injuries. If he hadn't done his knee when he moved to Inter he'd probably be seen as clearly the best player ever rather than being remembered as just one of the best ever. His hat trick at OT for Real Madrid is one of the best performances I've ever seen from an opposition player.

Best striker in the 90s and early 00s, if it wasn't for injuries and weight issues towards the end of his career, he be easily a top 10 all time player

i remember watching him in 2010 for corinthians. i was a huge fan of his. even had that weird hair cut as a kid. but i have never seen a fat man and he was fat in 2010 do what he did. flicks, shimmys, dummys i mean he was slow but he still scored 10 amazing goals out of 12. i still remember him cutting in, 10 yards outside the box, didn't even look up to see where the GK was and chipped him from that distance. man will always be a LEGEND

He is the best striker I have ever seen play the beautiful game. If he had come to England he would have broken records all over the place. If ye had played as long as shearer had in the prem then I believe he would be top scorer by some considerable margin.

{Ed002's Note - Manchester City may well look to early negotiations. Interest has gone, at least for now, from Bayern Munich and PSG interest is on hold pending a new coach. Manchester United interest in Saul Niguez will have gone if Pogba takes advice decides to run down his contract next season (because the club are holding him to ransom and have no Champions League).}
