Hey eds,

Okay to ask about Atalanta transfer plans?

Cheers.

{Ed002's Note - Potential Departures:

Atalanta have nearly 50 players who have been out on loan that they are in the process of assessing – they will decide on who to keep, who to sell and who to place on loan again.
Etrit Berisha (G) joined SPAL to run down his Atalanta contract
Timothy Castagne (RB) Milan and Spurs have enquired and been told he is not for sale.
Robin Gosens (LB) Fiorentina enquired about availability but he is not first choice for them. Borussia Mönchengladbach have been looking at him with Oscar Wendt's career coming to an end. Lyon had an offer rejected in January. Gosens is way down the list for Inter. RBL are looking for talks.
Lennart Czyborra (LB) will go on a loan to buy to Cagliari.
Gianluca Mancini (CB) moved to Roma.
Matteo Pessina (CM) Atalanta have Pessina on a two year loan at Verona at the moment and they have an option to buy the player at the end of the season at a fixed fee and there would be a fixed fee buy back option for Atalanta as part of the sale. Inter have convinced themselves that the player would be a great addition but know that it would mean that they would need to compensate noth clubs for next season's loan and agree a fee for Atalanta to sell. The representative of the player is close to Inter and may well be able to negotiate the inclusion of Inter players in the transaction. The player has also attracted the interest of Milan who had him on the books for a couple of years, Fiorentina and Napoli - but Napoli have difficulties right now and that may put the player off.
Isnik Alimi (CM) released
Andrea Colpani (CM) will go on loan to Monza
Marco D'Alessandro (RM/RW) sold to SPAL
Modou Badjie (AM/CM) released
Dejan Kulusevski (RW/CM/AM) has agreed the move to Juventus and loan back to Palma.
Lorenzo Peli (RW) has gone on loan to Reggina
Tiziano Tulissi (RW/LW/AM) loan to Modena
Ebrima Colley (LW) Genoa and Lecce have enquired.

Players of Interest:

Tomas Tavares (RB) Benfica are reluctant to sell but Atalanta, Spurs and Shakhtar Donetsk have asked after him.
Mitchell Dijks (LB) option if Gosens departs
Mattia Caldara (CB) joined Atalanta on a loan to buy back option
Lucas Verissimo (CB) Santos CB that Atalanta, Chelsea, Inter, Shakhtar Donetsk and Sampdoria have enquired after
Malang Sarr (CB/LB) has held talks with Real Betis, Chelsea, and Bayer Leverkusen about a move and Borussia Mönchengladbach, Barcelona, Arsenal, Fiorentina and Atalanta have all declared an interest. The player was very keen on joining RB Leipzig who held discussions and had him as an option to replace Dayot Upamecano but they can now be discounted. He is one of the economically better options identified by Barcelona who want talks with his agent and his agent wants talks with Leicester. The player wants guarantees of playing time and right now it is unclear if he can step up as a CB to play at a higher level, as Nice have used him more as a LB more often than not.
Marcos Senesi (CB) Atalanta, Everton, Leeds and Sevilla have all enquired after MS but Feyenoord are not looking to sell.
Simone Muratore (CM/DM) has joined from Juventus.
Mario Pasalic (CM) has joined Atalanta from Chelsea
Ianis Hagi (AM) Roma, Brighton, Crystal Palace and Atalanta have an interest in IH but none have declared an interest with his club.
Aleksey Miranchuk (AM) Fiorentina and Milan have shown an interest but Atalanta are in talks with Locomotiv Moscow. Manchester United looked at him last summer but eventually opted for Bruno Fernandes.
Pedro De La Vega (RW) would help Lanus financially to sell but parents want him to move to Spain.
Adolfo Gaich (S) young Argentine striker looking to move to had Inter, Gent, Atalanta and West Brom with a declared interest but he opted to move to CSKA Moscow.
Michy Batshuayi (S) Chelsea had no interest in letting him go in January when clubs were pushing but Chelsea will want a sale this summer. Crystal Palace may offer an option - Marseille would do but they have FFP problems and other issues to deal with first. Fenerbahce and Atalanta are looking to a loan to buy or a very cheap buy. Leeds, Aston Villa or Newcastle may provide a solution and all have made general enquiries regarding availability. His agent is working hard to define the options.
Emmanuel Dennis (F/RW) would need to pay well over the odds to be assured of a WP for the Premier League but Bruge has placed a significant €40M price tag on the player that Newcastle, Brighton and Watford see as far too much. The player has also been watched by Lille, Monaco, Sheffield United, Everton, Sampdoria and Borussia Dortmund - but it is Atalanta who are pushing (but I think a move unlikely).}
