Hi Ed’s, what’s the situation with lautaro of inter? Seems a top player but then linked with arsenal.

{Ed002's Note - Lautaro Martinez (S) Inter don't want to sell and long-term admirers Barcelona and Manchester City are looking elsewhere although Barcelona would like to add him in 2022, but significant sales would still be required and they have added Aguero and Depay. Real Madrid are trying to convince the club otherwise and will offer an assortment of players they no longer want in exchange. Atletico Madrid are interested if he becomes available but money would be an issue without a major sale. There is support for him from an ex-Chelsea player who is a potential Director of Football at the club but he would be a little down the list of targets Chelsea has. I am not aware of any formal approach from Arsenal to Inter but they do want a striker and will have used a third party to understand if there is an opportunity for them. But it is difficult to see how they could fund a move which would see any negotiations start around €100M. The player would also want Champions League football.}
