{Ed002's Note - Ronald Araujo (CB) Barcelona want to refresh their CBs in the summer and are looking for a long-term replacement for Pique and they know that Umtiti is not the solution they had hoped for - although he has taken a significant drop in wages to stay. This has them looking at Free Agents, with Andreas Christensen their preferred option but there remains a desire for a major buy at CB. They could use Ronald Araujo, who has yet to agree a new contract, as a part exchange option as they look for a solution to their various transfer needs and he is another of the players they could sell, having already spoken with Chelsea, knowing they have a potential CB problem with four Out of Contract in the summer, during discussions over several players. Manchester City offer an option and have spoken with Barcelona. I doubt he would be first choice for Chelsea or Manchester City. His agent has spoken with Manchester United who are expected to look to add a CB in the summer. Barcelona will push for a new contract but to date there has been no agreement.}

Hi Ed, hope all is well. Have you heard of any interest in Dušan Vlahović? Had quite a good year, I would be surprised if he didn't have any suiters this summer.

{Ed002's Note - Dusan Vlahovic (S) Milan see the player as an Ibrahimovic back up and possible replacement - Spurs have the same view in respect of Kane - and Dortmund do in respect of Haaland. Roma, Juventus and Atletico Madrid offer another option which would see him as a starter. Manchester City approached Fiorentina and were told that the aking price will be set above €50M which came as a surprise. I am not aware of any approach by Liverpool to Fiorentina.}

I saw on the United page that they could have interest in Saul should they be able to move on from Pogba. What other teams are interested in Saul’s services?

Hi Ed, hope all is well. Was curious if there is any interest of Asensio from any of the top 6 in England. With the potential for Mbappe to join for mega money, it seems to me like some players would need to be shuffled around.

{Ed002's Note - Marco Asensio (AM/LW) interest from Inter and he was offered as part of a deal with an English side last year but the player has said he does not want to leave and that is also the position of Florentino Perez – he has been out with a serious knee injury and is returning to training so expect him to stay.}
