Hi Ed,

What are the plans for Rafael Leao?

New contract or is he more likely to move on?

Thanks as ever

Nathswindon

{Ed002's Note - It is expected he will leave.}

1.) 24 Jun 2022 15:50:10
Hi Ed what are his options who is interested?

{Ed002's Note - The same as I have previously explained.}

17 Mar 2020 08:14:06
Hey Ed.

Do you think that Luka Jovic will be available in the summer?

Thanks.

Nathswindon

{Ed002's Note - Yes, Luka Jovic (S) wants to be playing and with RM looking to a new striker and being behind Benzema he wants out - RM will let him go but not on loan but is expected to be available for sale or to be used as part of an exchange.}

1.) 17 Mar 2020 14:44:37
Thanks Ed.

2.) 18 Mar 2020 05:54:16
Good day Ed, please are there interested clubs especially EPL teams.
Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - Luka Jovic (S) Napoli are very keen and both clubs plan a discussion about an exchange involving Jovic. Bayern Munich have Jovic as an option. In January Mr Mourinho wanted to take Jovic on loan until the summer but the player, who is not getting assurances from Zidane wanted a permanent move and game time. Knowing that Real Madrid are looking to add another striker in the summer he needs his career back on track. So Spurs could return.}

Hi Ed

On one of the recent sharkopod you mentioned that Madrid have 'big plans'.

I guess they're looking at rebuilding their squad?

Can you tell us more? Who, are they looking at? Is Zidane likely to stay on longer term?

Thanks.

Nathswindon

{Ed002's Note - Real Madrid will be looking to refresh the side and the coaching staff over the next two years. They are looking to move on players such as:
Keylor Navas (G) who wants to move on
Kiko Casilla (G) will also be replaced
Achraf Hakimi (RB) may also be sacrificed as he pushes, like so many kiddies, for first team football
Pepe (CB) will need to be replaced still
Jesus Vallejo (CB) is attracting attention from Italy and again he wants game time
Fabio Coentrao (LB) who will leave in the summer
Marcos Llorente (DM) is restless but with Casemiro at the club options are limited – but Real Madrid want to keep him
Dani Ceballos (CM) a loan is likely before a decision is made
Mateo Kovacic (CM) who needs to restart his career
Luka Modric (CM) is getting on a bit
Toni Kroos (CM) is available and could be used in a part exchange deal
James Rodriguez (AM) is available to be sold if Bayern do not want to keep him
Martin Odegaard (AM/W) will be made available – and should be a lesson learned
Marco Asensio (AM/LW) is a player Real Madrid really want to keep but the player is miffed at not enough game time and plans to bring in two high-end wider players – talks already held with another side
Lucas Vazquez (RW) a loan is likely in January
Gareth Bale (W) is available to be sold or used in a part exchange deal
Ronaldo (F) perhaps 2019 rather than 2018 but possibly 2018
Benzema (S) signed a new contract but available
In terms of who is being looked at right now:
Kepa Arrizabalaga (G) may well happen in January
David De Gea (G) KA is the preferred choice
Thibault Courtois (G) KA is the preferred choice
Marquinhos (CB/RB) first choice to replace Pepe but unlikely in January
David Luiz (CB) no approach to Chelsea yet, but there might be in January
Maxime Lopez (CM) Real Madrid keep attempting to persuade Marseille to discuss the player but the lady from Marseille says no for now
Sergej Milinkovic-Savic (CM) the asking price is scaring clubs off
Leon Goretzka (CM) looks to be heading elsewhere so thoughts have moved on
Juan Mata (AM) Real Madrid would take Mata in the summer but the expectation is he will extend his contract at Manchester United
Dele Alli (AM) may eventually be subject to an offer
Nabil Fekir (AM) looking to be heading elsewhere
Philippe Coutinho (AM) player wants Barcelona and they want the player – unlikely but he has been discussed
Neymar (LW) 2019 is more likely than 2018 but they may test the waters
Eden Hazard (AM/W) Real Madrid are very keen
Ferran Torres (RW) will be a battle with Barcelona next summer
Goncalo Guedes (RW) Real Madrid have mulled over the idea and may look to an offer
Sadio Mane (RW) option considered by little support for an approach
Mo Salah (W) the player’s agent has approached Real Madrid
Alexis Sanchez (LW/F) don’t rule out a January approach but he looks to be heading elsewhere
Julian Draxler (LW) option considered by little support for an approach and the player would likely resits as he prefers a return to Germany or a move to England or Italy
Paulo Dybala (F) Real Madrid will look to make an offer
Antoine Griezmann (F) very, very unlikely and likely heading elsewhere
Mauro Icardi (S) Real Madrid has a concern about the level of grief he and his wife may cause but will push for a January move
Sergio Aguero (S) just can’t see this happening and an eventual return to Argentina beckons
Timo Werner (S) considered as an option
Harry Kane (S) unlikely in the short to medium term
Lincoln (S) Real Madrid, Barcelona and an English side have all spoken with Flamengo but given his age he cannot move anywhere for a couple of years. Clubs may take a chance on handing over a significant fee know and hope he continues to improve. Juventus are also showing some interest but have yet to approach his club.

Are arsenal the club talking about asensio.

2.) 15 Dec 2017 13:12:52
What a detailed reply. Awesome edd.

{Ed002's Note - You are welcome. Adding to the list - Kevin de Bruyne (AM) RM may turn to him and they were approached in Monaco on Tuesday about Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang again.}

Hi Ed,

Who are Alessio Romagnoli's posible teams please?

Thanks.

Nathswindon

{Ed002's Note - Alessio Romagnoli (CB) Milan want a new contract but they are at odds with the player and his representatives over the package, and in particular, a termination clause. Currently he will be out of contract this summer unless something changes. Lazio have continued to hold meetings with his representatives and have been gradually been increasing their offer. He will have options with Barcelona perhaps seeing him as an option to their first choice. Juventus interest only existed when it looked like MdL was leaving - now he is probably not. The worse case scenario for Milan would be a move to Inter - and don't rule it out. Real Madrid may offer an option if they miss out on Kounde. There is a chance of a move to London with Chelsea, who need to make significant defensive changes this summer, or Spurs, who are very keen to upgrade.}

Thanks!

2.) 23 May 2022 12:29:45
Is there any interest from Manchester United?

{Ed002's Note - What does it say?}

13 Jun 2017 21:43:56
Any news on Rudiger?

I expected him to follow Spilletti but have heard nothing.

Also, is it inter who are the team in talks with Bernadeschi?

Thanks.

Nathswindon

{Ed002's Note - Inter and Chelsea remain keen on Rudiger. FB is talking with Juventus.}

23 Jan 2017 17:47:49
Hi ed,

You mentioned Chelsea (amongst others) might make a move for Bernadeschi, has there been any approach or progress? He looks real quality.

Nathswindon

{Ed002's Note - Nothing will happen to the summer at the earliest and there are two complexities, price and a little backround deal, that will see a move to Inter the most likely end to the matter.}

1.) 23 Jan 2017 22:28:13
Nice work, thanks.

Maybe I'm missing something.

Messi is crying in a press conference and it appears that this is bigger than football for him.

So why not just sign a considerably smaller contract.

Tom Brady did this for years to ensure that his team could invest elsewhere.

Not a criticism, it just seems like money shouldn't be an issue in this situation.

Maybe I'm missing the point, if the pooint is not his wages.

Nathswindon

{Ed002's Note - It is a Barcelona wage issue, not just a Messi wage issue. This is why they need to move Griezmann on aswell.}
