Hello Ed. I just have a question regarding the buy back clause that Real Madrid have with Morata. I was wondering if the player has any say in it? For example if he wanted to stay at Juventus, could he reject a move to Madrid?
{Ed002's Note - Yes, you cannot force a player to return to a club if he doesn't want to.}

Hello Ed. With Mkhitaryan looking unlikely to sign a new deal with Dortmund, could you please tell me who is interested in him?
{Ed002's Note - Dortmund's Mkhitaryan was of interest to Juventus over last summer but the player, who earlier in the year was unhappy in Germany, seems content right now but has contract demands that Dortmund are uncomfortable with. This has not put off an English side who may look to making a summer offer to tempt Dortmund to sell - and I think it unlikely to succeed with the caveat that if he is available then Juventus will look to him again.}

{Ed002's Note - It is nothing to do with Chelsea.}

Hello ed, with it looking seemingly likely that Hummels will be joining Bayern in the summer, is it likely that one or more of their centre backs will be leaving? And if so, is their interest in either Benatia or Boateng? Many thanks
{Ed002's Note - Benatia will be leaving and there is interest from Juventus.}

Cheers mate. After hearing that Juventus have an interest, could one assume that perhaps a Juve centre back could be leaving? In particular Bonucci or Chiellini?
{Ed002's Note - Don't try and make everything so complicated.}

I too understand your stance Ed as much as I wish it wasn't the case. Have you ever considered shaming the abusers? So us real fans know which posters don't deserve our time of day.
{Ed002's Note - Not worth the bother.}

They want to add Hazard and one of Mbappe/ Neymar although both seem difficult this year and they might look again next year. I believe Icardi is also of interest and not 100% but I think Mane might be of interest if they can't get their first choices.

Yeah I do agree there as well but I think any manager would probably sense that too and for that reason we will probably never truly know as it may be a risk. Be interesting to see where he fits in if Sarri comes in and changes us back to a 4 man defence. Most likely RB I guess as we'll have far too many CBs competing for 2 places even without Azpi being part of that list! Glad to see you hold him in high regard Ed001, whilst Ed002 has the most incredible knowledge of the business side of the sport your knowledge and judgement of the playing side is one I hold in extremely high regard so it's nice to see us agree!
{Ed001's Note - thank you mate. It would be crazy not to rate Azpi, though he is not the best going forward, defensively he is sound. Which is why he is so well suited to a back 3.}

This is why Ed002 is simply the best when it comes to football knowledge and to share this without anyone even asking is unbelievable stuff. Top work Ed, never change and please never leave this site. As I'm sure 99% of the users on this site will agree, your knowledge is appreciated huge amounts.

Just wanted to add into this conversation that as a Chelsea fan I will never ever forget Azpilicueta's contribution towards our club. Must be up there as one of our best defenders ever and for me one of my favourite ever players due to his hardworking nature, outstanding attitude and not to mention his quite obvious ability no matter where he plays. What a man.
{Ed001's Note - he is excellent, but I think he is not cut out to be a centre back in a 4, perfect for a back 3 though. He is one of the better players in the Prem, in any position you want to mention.}
